The Republic P-47M-1-RE Thunderbolt. 63rd Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group, USAAF, Eight Air Force, Boxted, Essex, England. This plane was used in April of 1945. Piloted by Lt. Randall "Pat" Murphy Jr. (13 victories). Inside holds a Pratt & Whitney 18 cylinder motor rated at 2,000 hp for take off, and has a max speed of 473 mph.
